EVGA Classified SR-2 Case

by Spotswood
Worklog: Here

EVGA's Classified SR-2 motherboard is a monster, so much so that it only fits into a handful of cases. Forum user Spotswood has taken things into his own hands, however, and decided to build his own case, large enough to house an SR-2.

The SR-2 is large and with several toasty chipsets / controllers, two CPUs and any number of graphics cards to think about cooling, it's no surprise that Spotswood has designed the case to be able to cater for some hefty water cooling hardware. As we can see above, two quad 120mm-fan radiators will be providing the cooling.

The case is made partly of wood with metal providing support for much of the hardware including the motherboard and radiators. The case appears to be split internally into various sections, with fan holes providing cooling between them.

Below we can see a gorgeous mount for the two huge radiators - it looks like a wall of raw cooling. In the most recent updates to the project the case is really coming along and we definitely think you check out Spotswood's project log to see more of this promising project.
